A community initiative to promote collaborative education, research and outreach in biology. The objective is to establish functional linkages across the span (primary school to research centers). For example, we may from time to time launch initiatives, such as poster competitions, seminars, workshops, collaborative research projects etc.
CUBE
“CUBE“stands for Collaborative Undergraduate Biology Education”. It is an initiative started at HBCSE, TIFR.
Under the CUBE initiative a workshop for undergraduate students begins on 23rd April 2012 to the 30th of May 2012. During this period a group of students from three different colleges,Smt.CHM College, St.Xavier’s College and Jai Hind College, about 20, will be learning and doing research using simple model systems. The project proceedings will be documented on CUBE wiki page.
