Good afternoon everyone.

Yesterday, I got a challenge,

**“Can you perform an experiment Involving electrolysis of water using simple ingredients available at home.”**

I performed this experiment and got amazing results.

**So here is the experiment-**
Apparatus required:

1. One glass tap water.
2. two to three teaspoon salt.
3. two pencils.
4. a cutter
5. a piece of cardboard.
6. a 9V battery.
7. wires

**Now here is the procedure:**
1.Trim the pencils as shown in image.

2.cut a hole through cardboard to fit pencils in it.
3.Add some salt to water to make it a good conductor of electricity.

6. Now join the black wire on left and red wire on right pencil.
7. **Observe the reaction.**
