The story of Cardamine:

@shalinisharma98 ⁩ and myself collected cardamine plants in roadside garden near DSCollege , 30/12/2023.

One cardamine plant i have taken from Delhi to Kozhikode, Kerala so called siblings cardamine (suspected sibling of Shalini 's Cardamine).

_Breaking news_  
Found out cardamine plants in the outside of DSC college, Delhi.  
@shalinisharma98 was Collecting the plant .

Discussion has been strated with a _cardamine (which is one of favourite model system for CUBISTS)_.

✨ _Why any organism is considered as model system? Is that they possess some specific characteristics?_

✨ _What a non-cubist will do if they get a chance to visit other state (like Delhi)? I guess, most probably we will go and visit some places that are famous there or meet some of the friends._

🥳🥳But the _speciality of CUBISTS is that wherever they will go, despite of their busy schedule they will take out some time to look for their favourite model organism, like what theertha has done and searched Phyllanthus (from JNU campus) and Cardamine from Delhi’s famous spot (Habitat centre near Dyal Singh College and Lodi Garden) and taken them to kerala, even some of lucky cardamine plants also got a chance to travel to another state (kerala) with cubist like theertha._

Then we discussed about seed germination.

✨ _What actually happens during seed germination?_

✨ _How one seed give rise to whole plant?_

✨ _How that radicle and plumule give rise to root and shoot system respectively?_

✨ _What is meristematic cells? Do they play any important role in plant?_ @⁨~Charvi⁩ @⁨Theertha⁩ @⁨Sakshi⁩ @⁨~Shubham U.V Tanpathak⁩ and others.

_Cardamine plant that has been brought from lodhi road near Dyal Singh college, to Noida, Uttar Pradesh on 30th December 2024 is showing wilting, what could be the reason of it?_ I’m watering it on the alternate days because of winter (temperature:- 14°/6° max/min), water is not drying up much.

✨ _On the other hand @⁨Theertha⁩ has also brought cardamine plant from the same location to kerala and they are growing fine. Do share your inspiring story with some photographs_.

As per my understanding, the compund leaves that are emerging first, they are having less number of leaflets while the leaves that are emerging later they possess more leaflets compared to early emerged leaves, What could be reason behind it?_

When I went to New Delhi in December 2023, I met Shalini, @⁨shalini CUBE⁩ and we both collected Cardamine from a roadside near Dyal Singh College, Delhi. I thought I had lost the Cardamine because there was no regular watering and no plants were in the pot. But , I restarted watering on July 12, 2024, and these are the results.
