Summary of today’s ( 01st December 2020 ) CUBE CHATSHAALA discussion…
We had Discussion that if we give feather touch on tentacle of snail than how does snail retracts its tentacle and that tentacle will again come back to it’s original place?..
And what’s the biology of this action?..
What’s Habituation and learning and Memory??? How do snails learn?.. what’s the biology of this?..
We went deep in to this and had proposed a very simple model…
That’s there would be one Neuron which is drawn in red color takes signal/message from feather touch point and that signal will pass to an interneuron ( Green color ) and further the signal will pass to Neuron pink colour than finally this Pink color Neuron will convey this message to Muscular Bundle ( Blue color ) initially blue color muscular bundle is long/elongated and thin and after getting the message all the way from feather touch point, will get contract/short/thick which results in Tentacle withdrawal…
But is it not similar to Reflex action?..
But what’s the this yellow circle is shown?.. can we called this circle a the BRAIN OF SNAIL or small version or Brain or Ganglion or Actually Tentacular Ganglion… Than What’s Brain and where’s snail brain??..
What’s the difference between Ganglion and Brain?..
How this central ganglion is connected to tentacular ganglion or Foot Ganglion?..

But why are we collecting data on Mango trees?? What’s the objective of doing so?.. What’s the research question that we are addressing or we can address?..
