Whatâs the journey that we have traveled so far since the lockdown was announced.
TRSV CULTURE MEDIUM
One of the achievement we got during lockdown.
What are the oppertunities that lockdown has given us and we could able to innovate new ideas and had also innovate TRSV culture medium that had helped us in culturing Native trapped fruit flies⊠and still able to do itâs work.
We had discussed the whole story that how TRSV medium was made. What all goof ups we did , what modifications we made in order to get standard TRSV CULTURE MEDIUM .
@âšAswathy Cube Butterflyâ© and fruit fly collaborators have been maintaining single line cultures of trapped native fruit flies using TRSV CULTURE MEDIUM and few techniques
We had whole story of CUBE HOME LAB BOTTUKAVADU KERALA in todayâs webinar.
And for a reason @âšAswathy Cube Butterflyâ© had to leave cultures for sometimes and how did @âšAswathy Cube Butterflyâ© managed to save all the single line cultures that she was maintaining.
Fruit fly collaborators please help Aswathy in order to save this bottleneck.
Aswathy once left with SLBK-A8, B8, C8 & E4 culture bottles.
But Aswathy has managed to save them by transferring flies on 3/12/2020 from A8,B8, C8 &E4 to new media bottles A9, B9, C9 & E5 respectivelyâŠ
But after doing this attempt Aswathy is not getting good results in A9 and C9 bottle
Following are the conditions of these bottleðð»

C9: 3Larvae & No pupa
Please help Aswathy in order to save precious Cultures.

we also had Discussion on how does soap works?. As @âšAswathy Cube Butterflyâ© had lost SLBK-D single line culture we as per @âšAswathy Cube Butterflyâ© dialogue we could say that bottles were not washed well so due to insufficient washing detergent must have left .
So we need to discuss how does soap works?.
We have been trying to standardized the method of making TRSV CULTURE MEDIUM so that weâll be having reproducible results.
So can we also standardized the method of transfer of fruit flies from Old media bottle to new media bottle
We had a very nice discussion where @âšAswathy Cube Butterflyâ© tried to standardized the method of transfer.
How many flies we should Transfer in order to make subcultures?..
After how many days we should Transfer?..
