How much time do water flea take to reproduce itself ?
Water flea is an organism, 1 mm in length and reproduce rapidly. They feed on bacteria
Water flea is attracted towards light and can.
The water flea requires dechlorinated water to survive.
Water flea survives by eating the bacterias
It is an arthropod
We discussed about how water flea can survive in lab or under stimulated condition. It has to be kwpt in de-chlorinated water so that the bacteria doesnt die. For food,we can add a few drops of milk(a complete food) which would decay and provide nutriotion for water flea
We need pond water(dechlorinated water), milk, a bottle to grow water flea.
The flea feeds on bacteria.
they are very tiny in size
We need declorinated water, milk, a plastic bottle to grow water flea.
We discussed about how water flea can survive.
Some of the conditions are:
1.It has to be kept in de-chlorinated water.
2.For its food, drops of milk can be added which will decay and provide nutrition to the flea.
Water flea is an organism which survives in dechlorinated water and feeds on bacterial organisms to survive.
Things needed to reproduce water flee -
1.Declorinated water
2.decaying matter containing bacteria
3.water flee
4.plastic bottle
Q. What is the lifespan of flea
Q… How much time does water flea to reproduce
Not exceeding 5 to 6 months life span of flee
It depends on the temperature …
13 to14 months in cold
How to pick water flea from the test tube
How do water flea ingest their food?
Water flea is a tiny organism taht is just 1mm in size, it reproduces very quickly and is attracted to light. To mainatain water flea in our lab we need to provide them w suitable conditions such as Dechlorinated water which wouldnt be microorganism-free. We need to put in a few drops of milk so that the decaying matter in it would provide nutrition to the water flea.
They feed by using hair-like structures on their arms to swim/ feed their way through the water . They eat bacteria, algae and virtually anything that is in the water (of small enough size). Because they filter water , they come in contact with and eat a lot of chemicals.
Can water flea survive out of the water source?
