Summary
In chatshaala we discussed about riddhi’s morning glowry plant and discussed about how it glows in night and what color , fragrance do flowers need for attracting pollinators at night and is this night glory self pollinating or cross pollinating

Riddhi was interested in knowing as to what time this flower glooms in night so she designed an experiment to check the flower and click it’s photo from 10 pm today to tomorrow 10 pm

We also discussed about the importance of replicates in the experiment and also tried to compare the flowering of plant with season and day light and night darkness

Comparing the glooming of flower as awakefullness with that of opening of leaves in phyllanthus as awakefullness we then started discussing about 2017 nobel prize in physiology and medicine of circadian rhythm and talked in details about molecular mechanism of genes and their proteins responsible in sleep and awakefullness of drosophila and were left on question

Do plants also have similar genes and molecular mechanism for their circadian rhythm

Then we discussed about dhanraj’s zebra fishes which he collected from shop and maintained 3zebra fishes in a bowl in his home in 1L water with 3-4pellet to feed them

Questions - how do we distinguish male and female zebra fish , how do we culture zebra fish
