The INSPIRE - MANAK (Million Minds Augmenting National Aspirations and Knowledge), being executed by DST with National Innovation Foundation - India (NIF), an autonomous body of DST, aims to motivate students in studying in classes 6 to 10. The objective of the scheme is to target one million original ideas/innovations rooted in science and societal applications to foster a culture of creativity and innovative thinking among school children.

Approach
A standard steel spoon will be modified by adding clear measurement markings at different levels (0.5ml, 1ml, 1.5ml, 2ml, 2.5ml, 3ml). These markings help users measure the exact amount of oil required for cooking.
This simple yet effective innovation promotes healthier cooking practices by enabling precise oil measurement. It is a cost-effective and easy-to-use alternative to conventional oil dispensers, ensuring controlled consumption.
