A.C. is more dangerous I think because it can match the magnitude of electricity through which our heart is controlled. And considering the fact that Alternating Current reaches zero at a point of time. Isn’t the time period at which it reaches zero too less. I mean if we consider a frequency of 60 hertz I think it doesn’t help that it reaches zero.
Could you please verify the fact above

You could have quoted the ONLY refrence provided in the quora page instead.
However that too was withdrawn for reasons not stated, and replaced with another article.
The second article has glaring errors as pointed out by this report
“IEC 60479-1 specified the human body resistance for DC human body resistance between 25 V up to 1000 V. However, the DC resistance values included in were based on experimental data conducted at 25 V only, with the rest of the values mathematically extrapolated based on AC human body resistance. This makes the assumption that body impedance scales identically with DC as it does with AC, which may or may not be the case. In addition, the DC body resistances given in are only for dry conditions. To the knowledge of the authors, currently there are no data available on DC human body resistance for wet conditions based directly on experimental observations. For wet conditions, the DC body resistance values provided in the IEC standard is assumed to be identical to the AC body resistance under wet conditions at each voltage. Again, this makes assumptions that are not firmly substantiated by experimental data.”
Until the use of Tasers by law enforcement began, there were very few studies of AC v/s DC voltage effects on humans. Such studies were in the early part of the century when the debate over AC v/s DC for mains power distribution was on. Once AC established an overwhelming presence in power distribution such studies died down.
It is sufficient to say that any voltage above 20 volts capable of delivering sufficient energy is lethally dangerous. Specifically when the it’s path flows through the heart / head. One source of low voltage high current is a welding transformer. Another source of nastiness is land line telephone wires. Telephone lines carry 48 VDC. When the phone rings the voltage can rise to 120V AC. Yes you read that right the DC changes to 20 Hz AC 90v RMS or 127 V peak.
