Enjoyed the interactive conversation with iwonder based on the article – observing the microbial world. The conversation emphasized the process of the development of the activity with pedagogical implications. These were in the area of students’ preconceived notions about the microbial world, teacher’s role in carrying out such activities, giving hands on or experiential learning for students, developing of scientific skills. The questions and comments from the audiences were quite relevant as they were making the connections of the topic for bringing the interdisciplinary teaching and learning. Microbes ofcourse is connected with microscopy and further with optics, chemistry and needless to mention even mathematics. The estimation of microbes was highlighted. As always, the mapping of biodiversity was emphasized during the conversation.
