Observed the egg laying of Common mormon in Curry leaf plant.

Mimic form of Common mormon female.

What might the progeny look like? Can we expect both mimic and non-mimic females from this mimic mother? Using the video, I collected eggs from the mimic form of the female. I also observed 6 eggs and 1 pupa, in addition to the 2 eggs laid by the mimic female.

Updates:
A)Egg layed by Mimic female

Out of the two eggs collected from the mimic female, one emerged as a caterpillar on the third day. The other egg did not hatch.

Caterpillar is in the 5th instar form.
5th instar formed on 7/08/2024

B)6 eggs were collected on 23/07/2024

3/6 emerged as a caterpillar.

One caterpillar was died in between and these are the rest of the two caterpillar collected eggs on 23/07/2024.

C)Pupae

Pupae was eaten .

Caterpillar hunting from lemon plant.

I collected 8 Caterpillars from a lemon plant on 28/07/2024.

Some of the Caterpillar having a bluish spot which is similar to Great mormon.
Expectations: Collected caterpillar from Lemon plant may be of Great mormon or a mixture of Common mormon and great Mormon.
