Cubists have been using Potato medium to isolate soil nematodes C.elegans, They use soil which is spread on periphery of potatoes, the milk is present in the centre. The bacteria will grow on the potato and nematodes if presnet in soil will crawl in the centre to feed on nematodes.
Cubists also explained how to distingush between different species of C.elegans based on phenotypic characters.
