As we know, Eric R. Kandel got
The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 2000 for the discovery of concerning signal transduction in the nervous system.
He used slug as a model for understanding the function of neuron & here Cubists are using Snails in order to understand the learning & memory.

Total 8 Snails were brought from Seawoods Darve, Navi Mumbai, on 7th July 2023. Yesterday i.e. 8th July 2023 the snails excreta and other dirt was cleaned using water. Fresh Cabbage brought from the market was fed to the snails.

This is the setup prepared for snails. We took a tray and filled it with water till half. Inserted this basket inside. And kept snails in the basket. Snail Culture update CUBE LAB SOMAIYA

Vatsal and @CHINTAN GALA CUBE observed snails at 2 pm all snails were observed near the base of basket cultured in , some on wood sticks or in vicinity to the sticks, the cup of water placed for them was observed to have lesser volume (as it was filled to top on 24th july), one snail was observed in the food cup the food was almost eaten by snails. Brinjal,radish, onion, cucumber and tamarind pulp .Changed the vegetables.
Mixed veggies made the container moist. Bigger snail could escape from the container but caught it again.
Updates from @bhagwatisahu .Food preferences test using Giant African Snail.
Today we conducted an experiment to check the feeding behavior of snail. We first made a circle of radius 29 cm and placed potatoes on the north side of the circle and tomatoes on the south side. We did this experiment eight times, but the result we got was that in both the times the snail neither moved towards the potato nor towards the tomato and they were moving in different directions. Date- 27/10/23 time - 11:22 am
We did another experiment. We made another circle and we placed another smell in it. We placed water drops on the north side of this circle and tomato slices on the south side. We placed the snail in the center. We did this process 9 times, but the result was that the snail neither moved towards the water nor towards the tomato slices and it moved in some other direction every time.
Today we did a new experiment, we made a circle of radius 26 cm, placed water drops in its North and South and placed the snail in the center and observed the snail. We found that the snail was moving in different directions.
Today we did a new second experiment, we made a circle of radius 26 cm, placed pieces of potato in its North, South, East and West and placed the snail in the center and observed the snail. We found that the snail is not moving in the direction of the potato. Was
