Conclusion in the paper:

Edge and Yandex were the worst privacy offenders while chrome, Firefox and safari provide medium level of privacy (Firefox can provide high level of security but not with default options).

The paper concludes Brave as the most privacy respecting browser out of the box.

TLDR:

STOP USING PROPRIETARY BROWSERS LIKE GOOGLE-CHROME, MICROSOFT-EDGE and SAFARI IMMEDIATELY

Especially advice friends and family to quit using Google Chrome and use brave, Vivaldi, Opera and other chromium based browsers instead to prevent google from monopolizing and breaking the internet
