Making of simple wooden tables

We needed tables to work and we created simple designs that requires very simple tools, ply cutting in square size and assembling them.

Students actively participated and helped in cutting assembling, painting, edge banding and curve shaping the corners with zigsaw.

We had a team in which some of them were good at fixing the screws, some of them were good at hammering, some of them were good at cutting the ply wood, some with calculation and etc, with the help of GN, Kiran bhaiya and Ali bhai, students had a new experience with carpentry.

The woods we did joined every part at its place, but the actual chalenge was to fix the column at its right place, because whenever we try to fix it at its right decided place it ends up at some other point.

Also fixing it with screws, then we measured it carefully with the help of scale and marked it, then with some efforts we were able to fix it properly.

Then at the least we shaped corners and edge bending work to make it clean and neat as to look like professional’s work and that’s how in just two hours we manage to create the table.

Since we know that we may be using water on the table top, we also got a stone from the shop nearby. We fixed a 3x3ft size stone on top of the table.

We made 3 tables. Making the second and the third was easy, and were made in one day.
