Model organism: MOSQUITO prevention and control data collection_2

This is the second data on Mosquitoes which were found at the CUBE LOCALITY LAB The Mall
Kanpur.
We mainly found Asian Tiger Mosquito also known as Aedes Albopictus which can be clearly identified with a line like structure in its thorax region. We also found The Yellow Fever Mosquito also known as Aedes Aegypti which can be identified by lyre like structure on its thorax region.
Mosquito Spot of breeding outdoor was water accumulation in plant pot tray and containers. Indoor water collection of the refrigerator water

What is the frequency of each mosquitoes? which are more in numbers and which are less?
Can we also think to design a devise to trap these mosquitoes, if they are prevalent in such a large numbers?

aedes albopictus is more in numbers i.e. 12 whereas aedes aegypti we only found 2 :expressionless:
yes we can design a mosquito trap but we have to take some measures to set it up like tosave it from the primary invaders like ants they can also get attracted to the trap.

Well, as much as I remember in the previous topic @rahil.bhai_007 was talking about permethrin which was a repellent for the mosquitoes…what if we design a trap in which there will be some chemical or something which will attract mosquitoes and we could then trap them :star_struck: is there any such attractant present ? @rahil.bhai_007

Carbon dioxide – mosquitoes are attracted to the carbon dioxide.

Therefore mosquitoes should be hovering around the gas stove or car exhaust?
