But well a slight change in the design…take 2-3moinas in a petriplate and put any number of rotifers, say if u are getting 6-7 put them and see what happens. Let’s perform this as soon as possible.

@drishtantmkawale we could just take up 2 rotifers through dropper 
so technically ROTIFERS are harmful for moinas na as they will eat up alll the bacteria present in the culture thus killing all the moinas in the culture.

Actually what I think is as there are rotifer cultures present in our lab, so it may have happened that the dropper used for rotifers might have got used by the moina people and the moment it came in one culture of moina they started growing there too…, while make a new culture , while transferring the moinas even the rotifers from that culture kept on coming …this is what my logic is …well , are rotifers present in our tap water which we keep in the sun and make it declorinated…if yes then it too could be a possible reason.

But rotifers are visible only after a few days and that too not much in number. Most of the time… huge amount of rotifers are found in old cultures.
Like Eutrophication (nutrient gathering) happens in ponds… here it happens in old cultures.

As in eutrophication, due to mineral gathering, the algal bloom takes place, here, in our moina cultures as we add milk (nutrients) day by day, not all bacteria may get consumed… so the left residue can settle down and form clumps in which rotifers are found.

Cannot update.
Our cultures are in College and for the past week we didn’t go to our college because the S.Y.'s and T.Y.'s are having their exams and we were not allowed to visit our research lab.
