I’m Swati and our group is working on in-silico properties of biological molecules under the guidance of Dr. Amrita. p53 is my target molecule.
I have keen interest in both Cancer biology and bioinformatics and this project is an intersection of these two fields. I aim to study sequence of p53 in different cancer types and understand the changes it undergoes due to mutations.
Excited to delve deeper into the world of p53 aka Gurdian of the Genome.
My team will be working on biodiversity hotspots.
Since we have fellows from both Nigeria and India, we’ll be considering a number of factors and commonalities between hotspots in both countries.
