Pendulum Lab
We tried to explore the movement of pendulum and its dependence on various parameters (like, length of the thread, gravitational acceleration, mass of the bob etc.) using the Phet simulation.

Reflection
- What is time period of a pendulum?
- How the kinetic and potential energy change as the pendulum moves?
- How the time period changes with change in the mass of the bob, the gravitational acceleration and the length of thread? What is mathematical relation involved in this case?
- What happens if the pendulum oscillates in a atmosphere having friction? How its energy (total, potential and kinetic) changes with time in that case?
- Using the pendulum and stop watch how to determine the gravitational acceleration of an unknown planet?
