NPK nutrients are the most important
The most important nutrients for plants are the elements required for photosynthesis sushi as H2O ;CO2 ; Nitrogen ,Potassium, phosphorus
Do plants require energy to use nutrients?
Where do they get their energy from?
All the energy that plants and animals need come either directly or indirectly from the Sun.
That would cover everything that we observe. However there are many cases where the statement is not true in the case of some types of life.
This is true, of course, but doesnβt apply to aeroponics, because the other ingredient needed for nurture in this paradigm is air.
Since we have such a tiny slice of atmosphere on this planet, and it is mostly free of light-blocking constituents (except in some parts of sunny England, as the saying goes), the main source of energy in aeroponics is sunlight.
I guess there will be some applications where this energy may be better supplied artificially, if the idea is to ensure the development of technologies that can be deployed across a range of user situations, or use cases, it ought to be more fruitful to focus on developing processes and techniques that rely minimally on external and artificial inputs.
The nutrients identified earlier, for instance. It would be good to create an actual list of such ingredients (for each plant or category of plants) that can be sourced or made locally with minimal reliance on external energy or industrial manufactures.
