Key points:
- we have two Hypothesis: A. Fruit Flies prefer the less wet area to the more wet area.
OR
Fruit flies prefer the less wet periphery than the wet area between the bait and the periphery
B. More fruit flies at periphery becuase of fermented product and less in between zone(tomato and
periphery) because of alcohol + water
OR
Fruit flies accumulate at the periphery pn account of a factor present in greater concentration there than in
the zone between the bait and the periphery - Concentration of Fermented product would be more on the tomato or on the paper??
- Or that concentration of fermented product is less on the periphery?

Seed dormancy in Arabidopsis can be overcome by germination promoting factors such as after-
ripening, light, cold treatment (also called stratification). Furthermore applied chemicals such as
gibberellins and KNO3 (Derkx and Karssen, 1993a; Alboresi et al. 2005; Ali-Rachedi et al. 2004), NO
(Bethke et al., 2007b) also have germination promoting effects (Fig. 1). None of these environmental
factors are an absolute requirement for germination because the need for one factor depends on the other
factors, as shown for the interaction between light and temperature by Cone and Spruit (1983
