Discussed about Model System CARDAMINE PLANT. from panvel @Shraddha got many cardamine plants at near her home (first week of October 2020). 6 Cardamine she brought and transplant in to native soil in Mumbai. In Panvel have 2 pot culture of cardamine. First one she transplanted & second one collected seeds from pot 1st and sowing in to soil directly.
1.Why cardamine is taken as a model system🤔?
Cardamine is in the family of Brassicasia which are belongs to Arabidopsis plant. Arabidopsis plant is the powerful model system in plants. Genetic studys are done in this plant. But this plant not seen in our India. It’s more visible at low temperature countries.
Cardamine are easily available at everywhere in India. So that’s why cardamine taken as a model system in the place of Arabidopsis plant.
In CUBE, lots of Cardamine Collaborators spread over the india now.
In Ranchi people done Genetic studies in this cardamine flower buds. They done florals dip method & produced Transformed seeds from that genetic studies. But they didn’t test control Experiment in cardamine seeds.
Nazhish from mumbai, she tryed to help them for test control experiment. Seed germination using kanamycin different concentration solution.
What is Kanamycin🤔?
Kanamycine is an antibiotics to kill bacteria in side the plants cells.
Then why only Kanamycin.

•Streptomycin
•Ampicillin
•Tetracycline
1.Why not Penicillin 
? Penicillin is also an antibiotics!
Penicillin is using for high fever like pneumonia.
2.If penicillin use as a medicine for high fever,can use malaria disease also🤔?
Penicillin is only using for bacteria caused diseases. Malaria is caused by protozoa.
1.What is the difference between Bacteria & Protozoa ?
Bacteria doesn’t have nucleus in side the cell, so that’s why it is Prokaryotes.
Protozoa have nucleus in side the cell. So that’s why it is a Eukaryotic.

•We can use Streptomycin in the place of Kanamycin. Because Both of them are effect Ribosomes of Bacteria.
• Penicillin are effect the plant cell wall. Its using Animals cell because animals Doesn’t have any cell wall.
