Zebra fish one of the model system of Cube Lab and Cube home Labs which touch upob the context to many approaches like Embryonic development studies, toxicology, Immune System, Regeneration studies, Basic Biology and more…

One of the another approch that had became the highlight in the discussion is how to rear Zebra fish , the food that’s given to Adult zebra fish can also be given to Larvae or fries or we need to give food to larvae by maintaining the composition of food but in another form or simple way same composition but in different form…

Example: puppies are not feeding the same food as mother dog feeds on.

What food is to given to those Larvae of Zebra fish that CUBists of Cube Nellore group has recently got .

On the other hand CUBist from Jorhat Assam is not getting the eggs from her Zebra fishes and one of the reason that’s staring is temperature
Does temperature play any role in mating or egg laying behaviour of Zebra fishes?..

Another interesting question that had put forward is that what’s the difference in between Zygote and An Embryo
Or what’s the difference among Unfertilzed egg, fertilized egg and an Embryo?..

What food is to be given to Larvae?.

Can we feed Moina or Paramecium?.. if yes than how do we Culture Moina or where do we find Paramecium and Culture it?..

  1. The breeding season of wild zebrafish has previously been reported to occur between April and
August,1,2 and it has also been stated that the spawning behavior has only been described from laboratory
settings.2 We, however, observed mating behavior at one of the sites we visited, meaning that the
previous noted breeding period can be extended at least to October.

This paper says that zooplanktons are natural food of fishes like rotifers and daphnia and all so can we
feed rotifers to the fish larvae.
