A bait has been kept in order to trap fruit flies.
Raj has strated to trap fruit flies from his locality (Delhi).
Slice of cheeku are used and placed on a tissue paper in balcony 2nd floor.

Then the discussion went on and we discussed what improvements we can do in order to trap fruit flies.
We should keep atleast 2 baits at 2 different places.
Don’t through the bait , we should wait for some days.
Since it’s an open bait as fruit is kept on a tissue paper so how do we go about trapping th fruit flies from an open bait?..
What advantages we’ll have when the bait will kept inside the transperent bottle?.
How do we differentiate male and female fruit fly?.
How do we identify Gravid/pregnant Female fruit fly?.
Then the question that Raj is interesting in fruit fly is to study the abnormal behaviour…
We also discussed what behaviour Raj wants to study and what abnormal behaviour he is expecting?.
What’s life cycle of fruit fly?.
Another question that Raj wants to address is to study about the Neurotransmitters.
So what do we mean by Neurotransmitter?.
What’s the nature of neuro transmitter?.
Acetylcholine is one of Neurotransmitter which is made of acetic acid and choline…
Why fruit fly is the suitable model system to study Neurotransmitter, Neurons and nerves impulses?.
What’s the single line Culture?.
How do we go about making single line Cultures out of 4 fruit flies , 2 males and 2 females?.
How to filter out female gravid fly among other three fruit flies from a closed trap?.
Where we discussed on Nail Regeneration and Nail growth.
Why we are behind Nail studies?. What important aspects it can provide us to study?.
