Moina(smaller version of prawn)is transparent when it’s in Normal oxygen condition but it turns red when it get expose to Low level of oxygen environment (Hypoxic condition), Hitesh Pareek CUBIst from CUBE Mumbai is interested in studying how cells interacts and switch it’s function for example how do cells sense low level oxygen and command more production of Heamoglobin in Moina in Hypoxia condition?.
