After a while we had the discussion on rotifer in the previous session, one of the species of rotifers that’s Bdelloid rotifer only reproduces asexually as per the references quoted in one of the paper of Mathew Meselson but recently another paper has been published by Meselson which says that Bdelloid rotifers do reproduce sexually, so there was a discussion around how do microorganisms reproduce? How does variation take place?
