I didn’t know about Homeobox Gene in plants Thanks to CUBE discussion i got to know about Homeobox Gene in plants.

Change in one gene can lead to change in whole physical appearance of plant. For e.g. Cardamine and Arabidopsis thaliana plants, Arabidopsis is a well known and primary plant model system in Plant science and genetics but this plant has simple leaves whereas it’s close relative Cardamine hirsuta has compound leaves, this is because of the presence of KNOX1 gene, which got deleted from Arabidopsis thaliana Genome.
