What is the common/regional name of Terminalia catappa (Copper Pod Tree) in the area from where this tree belongs to?
Terminalia catappa is Jungli badam
And Copper pod is Sonmohar

We are collecting pictures and essential information (metadata) of a variety of trees to find out a pattern of their behaviour. The question goes like 'is there any phenological pattern that is followed by the trees throughout the year as they experience a change in climate/seasons?'
Where phenology is the study of changes in the biological rhythm/cycles that differ due to the onset of seasonal variations, and, it is true for plants & animals alike.

Great, so is there any pattern that we have seen in Jungali Badam tree? Is this plant found across the India? What is the distribution of Jungalee Badam tree, as i have not seen Jungalee badam tree in Moradabad UP, may be it might have gone unnoticed but though i have not seen so far.
