Introduction
Snails are pretty little molluscans with spiral shells as a part of their bodies. They are mainly found in aquatic or terrestrial habitats. The giant African land snail ( Lissachatina fulica ) is frequently observed in monsoon in India.
How to identify ?
A brown spiral shell with alternate light and dark stripes on the body. The conical shell is much bigger than the body. Looks something like the picture given here .
