Spectacles for the deaf using Arduino

I would try to reach as soon as I can but I will be attending a competition tomorrow. Can I also know how long will you be available at HBCSE?

Until 6 pm (discobot padding for size)

Some alternative approaches would be to stream the audio via bluetooth or radio to an android or some other portable device that can do processing of the audio to text directly. Audio streaming over the internet would require higher bandwidth, I guess, for effective speech recognition.

Another approach is to use a raspberry pi zero (which is really small), instead of arduino, which has wifi and bluetooth, and can do a lot of processing too! All you would need to do is connect a microphone, the OLED display, and a small battery.

Already considered all of that. I am already using mobile to send audio via internet to do the processing. I also have thought about using raspberry zero but costs are thing to be kept in mind so I haven’t used it. Though I am planning to if everything else works out within a specific tight budget.
