Strange insect with a liking for mangoes

Greetings All,
I have a question and since I’m new to the platform and don’t know where is the right place to ask for questions, I’ll post it here.

What is this insect?

The only things I’ve observed are:

  1. It loves mango trees and rather destroys the crop:

  1. No bird, spider, ants, lizard or any other insect like to eat it.

  2. It’s filled with a yellow liquid and if by chance you step on it, it’s impossible to remove the stain from the floor or from your clothes, socks etc.

  3. It starts to come out of holes in walls around February when it’s brown and about 1.5 to 2 mm in size.

  4. It’s unstoppable!

The only solution I could find was to put up physical barriers:

But then it started attacking other plants and trees:

My questions are:

  1. What is it?
  2. Is it harmful or harmless?
  3. How many other scientists, students, and other teachers in this forum have observed these or managed these?
  4. Is there any other way to stop it without pesticides?

Regards

Looks like mealybug, a clear pest. It looks like Planococus, not sure about the species.

Ladybugs are known to eat them.
