"In a laudable feat, students of Telangana Social Welfare Residential Schools launched
from the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) campus, early on Friday morning. The ‘satellite’, designed to study cosmic radiation, temperature and ozone concentration, was assembled by the students.
The tiny payload was launched into stratosphere — along with a payload from a renowned space institute from USA — in a
by a team of 15 students, with guidance from experts at TIFR. Manufactured at a cost of Rs 4 lakh, the near-space atmospheric probe was in the stratosphere for four hours collecting data."
