To study the role of digestive organs in regeneration of earthworms
Immediate objective
To amputate earthworms at specific segments to understand which part plays the most important role

So firstly i was doing a project on role of clitellum in regeneration but then i collaborated with some students from Vivekanand college and they showed me a research paper on regeneration studies in the gut of the earthworm
So my hypothesis was that the clitellum along with the post clitellar segments was necessary for regeneration whereas the research paper they showed me stated that the intestinal part of the gut is responsible for the regeneration that is present in the clitellum and post clitellar segemnts thats why my objective has changed
