Hello everyone,
I am Pratibha Maharana, a Biotechnology student. Currently I am pursuing Masters in Biotechnology (MSc) from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai.
Our project group is trying to perform Insilico Study of different Proteins using bioinformatics tools like clustal w, Mega 11 and biological databases like NCBI and UniProt, under the mentorship of Amrita mam. In this project we are defined to study the proteins, their structure, function, interaction, and homologs present across different species with an evolutionary point of view.
Being a Biotechnology enthusiast, wet lab studies and techniques are something that excites me more as I have gained exposure in it during my undergraduate course. I am excited to work in this project as it will help me in exploring the computational side of the Biotechnology too.
