What happens to cellulose in our body?

I found this Slug on 5th July 2023 in my Homelab at Tanda, Uttar Pradesh. The slug was roaming on the cemented floor which was next to garden.

Earthworms primarily feed on dead plant material and organic matter Do we understand what is organic matter?
Earthworm can digest cellulose, a key component of plant cell walls, since they have bacteria in their gut which help in digestion.

We consume various vegetables, rice, and other foods, but what happens to the cellulose? If we can’t digest it, where does the cellulose we eat go? What components are present in rice? Also, what are amino acids?
