Wiki of Model Organisms by Investigations / Studies Conducted on Them

After the request of @GN Sir I have decided to create the wiki. For it to be a success I will require inputs from everyone actively working at CUBE on various Model Organisms. @Sjuday2527 @jaikishan @rahil.bhai_007 @bivasnag @Akshitha I will need a list of model organisms and what projects or Investigations we are conducting on them.

List of Model Organisms by Investigation / Studies Conducted on them :
Behavioral Assay
  • Drosophila

Identification of host plants of egg laying
  • Butterfly

Observation of Sleep / Wake cycle and circadian rhythm
  • Phyllanthus

Prevention and Control of Vector Borne disease and Identification of Striped and Non Striped
  • Mosquito

Regenerative Studies
  • Earthworm
  • Human Nails
