Workbench: The first maker space project

The first maker space project: As we know that we need to make a lot of wooden furniture and other woodwork, we thought one of the first things we needed was a workbench. We had four legs detached from an old dining table donated by St. Annes High School. The school also donated 12 wooden trays and an 8-foot-long side cabinet. We used the side cabinet to close the open entrance. (See a separate post on How did we make the LA lockable?)

We took a 18 mm ply board of 4x7 feet, fixed the plank on the legs. To ensure stability, we added a parallel support beam and some extra support for the legs, as shown in the picture.

This has been used since that day for every maker space project and our carpentry work.
