Did you manage to record the above-mentioned courtship (seem-to-be) calls between the male and female Cuckoo?
And how did you identify the birds as fe/male just by looking at them!?

I missed recording the call. I was busy admiring the beauty😉
Females cuckoo was identified with help of Google lens
Black male cuckoo was hiding in the tree, so couldn’t capture

The call finally stops after a highest pitch

On 17.5.21, is raining from morning, the birds were not seen in trees. Birds had come out around 11, again went into hiding as it started raining heavily.

Note that here the male cuckoo starts with a low pitch and the pitch increases after a pause. It keeps increasing till the time it stops
